The last period of three days and nights, are dedicated to Saraswasti the goddess of arts, wisdom and learning. Books and items of knowledge and learning are gathered and worshipped, to invoke the blessings of Saraswati

kanya pooja
Kanya Pooja On the eight and ninth days of navaratri nine young girls are chosen to be representations of the femminine creative force . The girls are worshipped as a matter of respect for the Goddess in rituals and ceremonies and are treated to a feast and given gifts.
